“You’re so fat” “You need to eat less” “Why do you eat so much cr*p?” Something you never say to overweight person hey? So why is “You’re so skinny” “Do you even eat?” “You need to get some meat on your bones” acceptable?
On Saturday, my boyfriend and I took a little trip to Bicester Village, which consists of many outlet stores by leading fashion brands. If you are a bit of a bargain hunter and can brave flocks of people – this is the place to be!
So me and one of my best friends have a tradition which is to visit her Grandma in Norfolk every year. A couple of weeks ago we did this again. Every time we go it ends up being so relaxing and some of the best days off that I have. There is no pressure and no rush to do anything.
Seeing as Easter was the weekend just gone, it seemed more than fitting to bake this Creme Egg Cheesecake I saw online. I absolutely LOVE Creme Eggs so to say I was excited was an understatement. I grabbed my best friend who also loves to bake and off we popped to the shop. It was super easy to do and I am really pleased with how it came out.
Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and my family going out for breakfast has sort of become a little Mother’s Day tradition over the last couple of years. Both mine and my mum’s favourite place in the local area is The Hide, in Ampthill Bedfordshire.
For me, Mother’s Day is all about cherishing my Mum and spending good quality time with her, as we get along so so well. Yesterday morning, myself, two brothers and parents set off to Ampthill from home to devour breakfast and set ourselves up for the day.
At the time of writing this, it’s Sunday and I just finished battling with the wind en route and on return from my Cafe Nero coffee trip. I feel like the British weather is teasing us, with a few glimpses of sunshine and warmer temperatures over the couple of weeks, I begun thinking Spring was on its way. This was, unsurprisingly, followed by a couple of bouts of stormy gales and wet weather. I’m a massive lover of Autumn and Winter (you can read my reasons why here), but as soon as January / February is over, I can’t help but long for summer evenings and sunny days…
