Norfolk Trip!

So me and one of my best friends have a tradition which is to visit her Grandma in Norfolk every year. A couple of weeks ago we did this again. Every time we go it ends up being so relaxing and some of the best days off that I have. There is no pressure and no rush to do anything.

We have been quite a few times now so we decided to do something different this time around. The journey isn’t too long, probably about 2 hours, but after blasting many old tunes it feels like nothing. When we got there, we had some lunch and then drove into Norfolk town centre for a quick shop. 4 hours later and too much money spent (oops) we headed back and got ready to go out for dinner. We visited the Kings Head for dinner and it was fantastic. Me and Alex had the Duck Breast with Parmentier Potatoes, Chardonnay Carrots, Kale, Parsnip and Vanilla Puree and Pan Jus.

It was 100% one of the dishes I have ever had. For dessert I had a selection of their homemade ice-cream and sorbet which where also incredible.

After dinner and a couple of drinks we headed home for an early ish night before the beach tomorrow.

We usually go to Sea Palling however we have done that a couple of times now so we decided to head into Cromer instead.

After a 45 minute journey we arrived and had lunch on their very small but cute pier. Then, after  photo shoot at some beach huts we had a look around the town.

There isn’t much to see and not very many shops however there was some nice pubs and cute little side streets.

By this time we where pretty tired so we got back in the car, stopped for a quick coffee where I ate a cookie and a muffin, (oops) and headed back. Unfortunately this was coming to the end of our trip so we had one last nice dinner and then set off home.

There is something about Norfolk that as soon as I go there it brings back so many nice memories and puts me in such a good mood.

Thank you for reading, have you been to any of the places I mentioned? Let me know!
