Summer Into Autumn Outfit Post

One of the biggest challenges in the morning for me is definitely deciding what to wear!! It’s the first day of October, and the weather is so challenging because recently, it’s been warm in the days, but so cold in the mornings and evenings. Because of this, I really wanted to put together a quick post with some outfit ideas for the awkward, transitional period between Summer and Autumn.

I feel the cold really easily, so absolutely love wearing knitwear. I saw this jumper in New Look when Amy and me were in Cambridge and I certainly couldn’t resist, especially because it was in the kids section, so was a bargain haha (one of the many benefits of being small). It’s a lovely colour and goes perfectly with these blue jeans from River Island  and matches my Kurt Geiger loafers in the picture below. For this outfit, I added my Fiorelli bag.

The hardest and most difficult thing is finding the perfect outfit to suit the weather conditions for days at work. This outfit below has been an absolute saver for those warm autumnal days. The top is a lovely rusty brown / orange colour from New Look, which is definitely in season this autumn. The lace top is flattering to wear and is great paired with a black vest underneath and these black trousers from Topshop Petite for work. The shoes in this image are loafers from Kurt Gieger, which I am currently in love with! For me, I’m always looking for a little extra height so the small heel is a godsend.

With it being colder in the evenings, I find layering up is the best way to feel comfortable as the weather starts to get cooler. This wrap, which is surprisingly from F&F at Tesco (last season) is the perfect addition to any Autumn wardrobe! I fell in love with this one because of the colours, and got this turtle neck top from Miss Selfridge to match. The wrap is literally the warmest and cosiest thing to wear without having to add a coat to your outfit.
