So last weekend was pretty packed with exciting and fun things to do! On Friday I spent the evening at an outdoor cinema watching Spectre, and then spent my Sunday in Cambridge soaking up the atmosphere ( and a hell of a lot of food ) at the Cambridge Thai Festival !
This was my first experience at an outdoor cinema and I was seriously impressed! If you read my last blog post, you would have seen that my boyfriend treated me to a little date day/night, so I figured it was my turn next! I bought tickets to see Spectre at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, which was the most beautiful backdrop ever!!
The company behind it all is The Luna Cinema, and hands down to them it was well-organised and the quality of the film was incredible! The picture and sound were both amazing, and luckily we didn’t have people talking over the film, everyone just wanted to watch it.
The tickets cost £13.50 each, which is only a little bit more than a cinema ticket, but the experience is so much more enjoyable! My word of advice – take your own nibbles and drinks, and make sure you’ve got blankets and lots of jumpers! It does get pretty chilly!
On Sunday, we ventured to Cambridge (it’s only about 45 minutes away from where I live) to visit the Thai Festival, which was located at Parkers Piece.
After soaking up the atmosphere and filling our bellies with some delicious Thai Food, we went over to the stage to watch some of the entertainment. There were many acts performing traditional songs/dances, but the most entertaining and most popular event of the whole day was the ladyboy show, originating from Thailand! The audience absolutely love it and they had such a big crowd.
I had such an enjoyable weekend, I hope you enjoyed reading this post! If you fancy hearing more from me and Amy, check out her previous post on Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Bum Blitz & look at my outfit post from a few weekends ago.
Thanks for reading my lovelies,
